is there anyone out there that have powder coated these wheels or added bead locks to them? I would be interested in seeing pics or photoshopped. Doesn't matter, just curious if anyone has done it

Most beadlocks are not street legal and probably exceed the requirments of most people here. Havent seen any powdercoated yet.

Not the best shot, but here they are powder coated (not mine). I've seen them in person, and they look really good all black.

This forum is going to cost me too much money.

Is that gloss or flat... can't tell in the picture almost looks gloss though (not my personal preference) but matte/flat might be nice.

Powder coating is not too bad. Around here in Phoenix there are dozens of shops that offer it. I looked into it with my 335d and the costs were less than $400 pretty much everywhere I checked to get all 4 wheels done. Cheaper than most aftermarket wheels really...

I guess the hassle would be having the truck on blocks while you take the rim/tires down to get tires removed, take to powder shop, pickup and get tires re-mounted/balanced. I imagine powder takes a week+ as well.

Some places will offer you some temp wheels/tires to run on while they work on your wheels.

Cheaper is the reason why this post was created. Personally I like the wheels it's just the bare metal finish making a snowflake illusion. And I don't want to dip them either

Am I the only one that thinks it looks like an AR bolt rather than a snowflake?

It totally does. When I first saw the OR trim with the black fenders, that's what I told my GF. She's seen enough BCG's sitting in my living room to know what I'm talking about and agreed.
