    Trying to determine whether or not to debadge my "TACOMA" on the door. The chrome was an eye sore and I don't think I like the derp much better....if you have debadged, especially Super White, please show me!

    Warm it up with a hair dryer (if you don't have one just park it in the sun), then use floss or fishing line to take it off. There will be a bunch of residue, so use goo gone, your fingernail and a bunch of patience. Once it's off, clean it up and give it a coat of wax.

    Or you can try one of these to get the adhesive off. I don't have any personal experience with one but I hear they work great.

    Heat gun, goo-gone to remove the leftover adhesive, and elbow grease with buffing compound of your choice after

    I let the truck sit out in the sun for a while, then I used fishing line to remove the badge and used goo gone to remove the residue. It helps that the truck is clean of debris.

    I honestly dislike (almost hate) any sort of badging. If it can come off without leaving holes which need body work and paint to cover up, it comes off. Though the wife likes the TRD bed stickers so they're on the bed even though I don't like them. I guess they're not as bad as chrome raised lettering which looks like a growth on the panel.
