Looking to sell my Baja design 40" S8. Nothing's wrong with it just looking to upgrade to a better light. I paid over $1000 for it but would like to get $700 for it. I don't really know what to sell it for but I figured I'd start with that. Its been on the truck less than a year and like all Baja designs you can change the lenses out to fit your need

Nice setup. Glws. Exactly what I've been looking for but way outside my price range. Way outside.

O its bright and fits nice on the prinsu design rack with the wind deflector with the light bar cut out. Just looking to upgrade to the Baja design high power. Is 700 fair or do you guys think that's too high

Honestly, I have no idea what used value is. It is a baja designs so it's warrantied for life, and you can swap reflectors/lenses for whatever you want. I think that has some value. I was quoted $870 from my buddy who is a dealer but best I have seen anywhere else is like 10% off MSRP. I ended up buying 2 20" S8 bars instead or else I'd be jumping on it.

I am curious too why you are upgrading if you think the light is currently bright? I have the 20 inch S8 behind my grill, and to be honest I wish it was a little brighter. With that being said the 50 inch stealth one is crazy bright so maybe its just not that powerful for a 20 inch?

Can you turn on just the yellow lights? Or do all of them come on at them same time?

Its plenty bright and all of the lights turn on at ones but the S8 does have the amber back lit function. Im only looking to upgrade if this sells. If not I'm still very pleased with my S8 but if I could sell it and get a bigger light than why not

The S8 replaced the stealth light bars so I would guess their performance is similar. But to compare a 20" to a 50" yeah it is not as bright because the 50" has 2.5x as many LEDs and 2.5x as many lumens. Individually each LED is the same brightness there are just more of them in a 50" bar.

The OP is talking about getting an OnX6 High Power which is size for size is 3x brighter. For example, his 40" S8 is 16,0000 lumes and a 40" On6x high power is 46,000 lumens. Each LED reflector is 3 times as bright as the S8 bars.

I need to check out those high output ones. I bet a 20 inch verison of one of those would blow my s8 out of the water by a long shot.

It will be 3x brighter. It is also more for a 20" than he is asking for a 40"......

Yeah it is lol a 40" high power is $1500 so if I could get 700 or close to it for the S8 I'd upgrade

    LOL Yeah a 20" On6x High power is $1000.......For $1500 I'd definitely just get a 40"

Apologies for bumping an old thread...But do you recall what mounting brackets you used for the S8 on your prinsu?
