For those of you that were talking about the soldier's pass gate

    Julie Rowe 928-203-7516

Starting Monday, April 3, 2017, the Soldier Pass trailhead will be closed for approximately three days while a new gate is installed (the hiking trail will be open and accessible from Jim Thompson or Adobe Jack trailheads). The Soldier Pass roads (FRs 9904, 9904B, and 9904C) will remain closed to public motorized use after gate construction until the new permit system is established.

Once implemented, the permit system will allow limited motorized access for up to 12 permits per day. Read the Final decision released on Soldier Pass motorized use press release for full details on the closures and project.

Map of the Soldier Pass roads impacted by the closure and permit system.

So y'all remember that storm Monday? Well my wife was driving the truck home right at the beginning of it. Truck got sandblasted. I just saw the damage yesterday. Pitted windshield destroyed. Paint chipped. Grill pitted. Headlights pitted. So much for a brand new truck. This is the second new truck that has gotten screwed up about a month after I bought it. :frusty:

Sorry, it's been a week. That was a mess of fun. Kids loved it. Still trying to buff my wife's fingerprints out of the chicken handle. As requested:

Very light cedar smell. I like it cause it cleans off the hands easy.

Gaia is going to make me a homebrew with essentials, coconut oil and shea butter. This stuff is expensive.
