Scored a sweet iron eagle deckover trailer that has electronic trailer brakes. My '13 TRD OR has the factory tow package (7 - pin) so I went ahead and installed the Tekonsha P3 controller and the pigtail that is specific to the Tacoma.

Went and tried to dial in the trailer output / gain in a parking lot and after about 5 minutes of working on it I notice the dash is lit up with ABS and TRAC.

If the trailer is unhooked and the rig is turned off the lights go away the next time you fire up.

I checked the fuses and a 30 amp (trailer tail) was out so I've replaced that but the issue is still popping up (but now I have running lights)!

I've searched the forum and the internet but haven't landed any solid leads.

    Any help out there?

    EDIT: I'm 6MT and my E-brake isn't engaged.
