Nope. Just going to be half way there when we do all the gussetting. Hell, I'm even swapping my axles out at the time. Just seems like the best time to do it. Also, can probably sell my ADD while it's still working

    That about sums it up.

Not sure I'd want to do the swap without the ARB getting rid of the needle bearings, but that's not an issue for me.

I called ECGS twice and asked two different tech guys. They both said with the ARB replacing the needle bearings with bushings, you're basically replicating stock FJ axle (minus the locker of course), and to not even think twice about it. "Install it and forget it" one guy said.

My truck is driven daily and We're driving to Moab from NJ in the fall. The FJ tube will be put to the test for sure.

Now, I can't decide if I want to swap out the LR UCAs for Camburg or TC uniball UCAs.

I'm worried that I won't be able to get enough castor for the 35x12.5s. Without the LRs I'm at 4* and it's close to rubbing my severely chopped cab mount.

Less caster will move the tire farther away from the cab mount. But not by much. Even at 2* of caster the top bj/uniball will only be about 1/8" to 3/16" more forward than it is now.

I might buy those fronts you're pulling off also if you don't keep them for spares, just saying...

The 886's? I'm debating if I should hang onto them or not. You got dibs if I do sell them though

I'm going down to Ant's the weekend of the 29th. He graciously offered to let me use his lift, and to give me a hand, with basically a complete front end rebuild, and the FJ tube swap.

So, I'll have the ADD actuator off for you then if you still want it.

    Will do.

@Wheelspinner has dibs on the UCAs if I sell those and if he still wants them. He was going to buy them before and I got all indecisive. And that's rare for me... right @Sub-Zero

I am now thinking of adding two smaller leaves to the bottom of my Dakars and removing the bottom overload. I hate overload springs.

Yeah. Either way, I didn't need $1000 UCAs though. Too many Saturdays lol
