Hi all, I'm new here and this is my 2001 Tacoma. It's my first vehicle, been driving it for 8 years now. I'm your typical broke college kid so this is a chronicle of some of the budget mods I've made to the rig.

    2009
-It came with a 3" suspension lift.
-Added a 3" body lift, clearance Clarence.
-Got some 33" BFG All-Terrains, probably put 60k miles on them and they're still good, currently got em on my dad's 4runner.

    2013
-Whacked the exhaust at the rear axle, thought it hung too low due to the body lift.
-Took the hitch off; never used it, and it hung too low.
-Took the spare tire mount off, and threw the spare in the back.
-Basically gave the back of the truck more clearance than a used car lot..... for free.
    -Also black tool box.

    2016
-Got new 33x12.5x15 Cooper Discoverer ST's and a set of retro wagon wheels off of a wrecked 4runner.
-Got a $300 winch from the local tractor supply, installed it in the stock bumper. The body lift gave the needed clearance, and welded in some scrap steel I found out behind a local supermarket for added support. Sounds pretty sketch, but it works.

    2017
-Bought a set of black steel rims online for $240.
-The Taco hit 200K so I replaced the water pump, timing belt assembly, and timing belt.

    What motor?
    Prerunner or 4x4?
You should really lose the body lift and get a decent suspension lift. (Potential safety issues)

Its got a 3.4L V6, 4X4 Trd, and when I get the money a 6" suspension lift is on the list.

    Nice.

Any pictures of how the winch is welded on?
