    This was given to me, and didnt work out for me.

    What happened with the install? Will it not hold tight with the broken clips? I may just just pick this up to paint black instead of painting my original.

    Clips get broken when taking off the trim, not installing.
    This was previous owned by another person before I received where the clips were broken during removal.
    Will definitely still hold tight with the broken clips, as the bottom clips do most of the securing.
    You can see in the attached pics how easily the top clips come out.

    Also, only one clips is legit "broken". The other two, the plastic is just bent or cracked, but still intact.
