I have a 2010 TRD Off-Road w/ 5100s set to 2.5", 1" rear block, stock rims, and 265/75 tires. There's a recall on the leaf springs, so they will be replaced soon. The dealer won't put the block back in, and I wanted to dump that anyway. With the current setup it's got an ever so slight bro lean. I'd like to get it to level or just a little rake. Any suggestions on an AAL? I want to put 5100s on the rear too. What's the right part number? Will the rear 5100s still fit ok w/ the AAL?
I'm also going to get a new set of Falken Wild Peak A/T3W 265/75 tires mounted on American Outlaw Deputy wheels from Discount Tire. The wheel measurements are 16x8, 6x139.7, offset 0. I admittedly have a hard time understanding offset and backspace. Will this wheel fit my setup ok?

You need to conform those 16" wheels will fit over the calipers. There are only a few 16" wheels that will work. The rest of the specs will work, as in 0 offset on an 8" wheel.

Go with a multi leaf AAL. They ride much better than a single leaf AAL. The cost difference is minimal.

Backspace is the measurement from the mounting surface (inside flat of wheel that makes contact to truck hub) to the lip of the wheel on the back side. So, it would be 4.75" from the mounting surface of wheel to the lip of the wheel on the back side.

Offset is the measurement of where the mounting surface of the wheel lies in respect to the center of the wheel. So if the mounting surface in dead center, then there is 0 offset. If the mounting surface is closer to the front of the wheel, it will have positive offset. If the mounting surface is closer to the back side of the wheel, it will have negative offset.

A lower offset will give you a wider stance.

i filtered by vehicle specs on discount's site for the wheels. i guess i can trust the results? thanks for the explanation and graphic on backspace/offset. that helps a lot.

To answer some of the other questions. 1.5" rear AAL should be close to level with 2.5" in the front. Your rear springs are probably sagging if they're getting replaced, so 1.5" should give you more than 1.5" than where your at now.

5100 rear shocks do have an extended length over stock.

As for the wheels, I would call and speak with a person at discount tire and have them confirm the 16" fitment. Maybe someone here that has them already will chime in and confirm they fit. There has been a lot of issues with 16" wheels having too small of an inner diameter fitting over the brake calipers.

I looked up the 5100. It says for 0-1" lift. They'll be fine w/ the 1.5" leaf springs?

I'll follow up with Discount to make sure. I'm not in an extreme rush. There's no rebate on the Falkens at this time. I'm hoping that maybe they'll do a program in May.

Do you have a link for the AAL you're running? I'd like to take a look at it.

I'm in PA too! (State College) Are you coming up for Blue/White?
