What is the recommended path to adding a new Icon suspension and keeping the stock tire size on for now, then upgrading tire size in the future once this set of tires is used up?

Basically I may soon have $3-5K in funds available for truck upgrades. Eventually I want larger tires and a 2.5" or 3" lift. I want to space things out so I'm not dumping $$K into the truck all at once vs $K into the truck.

Getting rid of the stock tires was number one priority for me!

265/75/16 now, lift later. This size works well with or without lift.

Some of you have the 700's on and I'm a little stuck. I have a 75lb InSain Fab bumper and any day now a Warn ZEON 10s winch at 80.5lb. Skid plates are all RCI aluminum but the fact is I will be over the 150lb mark to jump to to the 700's and just wanted some opinions. I hear just crank up the ones it came with which I already did and are at max with close to over a 2 inch rake witch i'm not to happy with. I'm thinking it's a must to move up but i keep hearing the ride is way to rough but if the weight is there for them this doesn't make sense. I also need the front up at least another inch. It's a 16 TRD Off-Road with an Icon stage 7 and billet UCA's, Icon Progressive Add-A-Leaf's and Icon's Tacoma Rear Air Bump's. Front has a Rigid grill w/Rigid LED bar and a Baja Designs Led Bar in the bumper with squadron pro's in the fog light holes. Needless to say my lighting at night is great.

They work great, I like to go fast and they definitely smooth out the big hits compared to the small rubber chunk smashing into the frame.

Nice! As far as any other contact do you notice anything while city driving or smaller hits?

Not much in the city, I put them on before the stage the stage 7 and I would hear them tap when I was messing around but with the 7 on and afe exhaust i just feel a smooth progressive rear travel, it does bottom out like i said when i jit hard but its not a hard hit that interrupts traction if that make sense. They are definitely worth it, easy install just cut the rivets off and bolt them on, I have them with the circle spacers off so they are higher up so I get more travel if that helps you out any. Pm me if you want we can meet up for a drive with some friends and you can see. Icon is fun as S#*T to play with especially with hitting jumps its like landing on a soft mattress.

What's up TW! Forum is awesome, constantly reading and learning into headaches! Anyhow here's My baby.

Stage 4 with TC UCA's (at factory)
    Progressive AAL (Overload removed)
SCS S6 with 285/70/17 Nitto Trail Graps

Got the Pro Grill but still contemplating. Besides that I think I'm done...then again I did say I would keep stock haha.

Going to adjust to 2" of thread. Since I'm rubbing like a mF!

    Peace

What is the (approximate) preset lift is with the Icons? I thought I read somewhere in here it's 1.5" of lift from factory on a 3rd gen?

Quick one guys I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a STAGE 4 for my 2009 Tacoma... And I have a buddy that is willing to help put it all together... It seems like I am going to buy it from Wheelersoffroad... since my local 4WC doesn't want to answer my question and my submission on my Tax forms... So go to go tax exempt LOL... I keep readying 700# do I need to request this from Wheelers to achieve the 3'' lift... and I am going with Dakar Leafs and taking out the AAL... any help is cool... and was it a pain in the as mounting the Resi for the front and back or how did you guys do that?
