Last Minute Run Plans ..Saturday April 8th
    Anza-Borrego thru Ocotillo Wells

Southern Border (start) to the Northern Border (finish)

The only other decision is go up the Western edge or the Eastern edge...
Both routes have been mapped out.
The Green Route is the west side run and the Red Route is the east side route both start in the same general area and both finish at the same destination (Calcite Mine).

Green Route: will be more of Anza Boorego and all of its more known sites and attractions it has to offer along the western edge of the park.
Attractions : 3 of the biggest drop offs Anza has to offer, mortero palms, the railway, overlooks, 50% of the entire route will be in slot canyons, a couple rock waterfall step downs, wind caves, mud caves, sea shells, pumpkin patch, seventeen palms oasis , Five palms oasis and calcite Mine and many more.

    Along this route (below)in order..
This will include Dos Cabesais Rd, Mortero Palms Wash, Piedras Grande, imperial Railway, Jojoba Wash, Volcanic Hills, Dolomite Mine, Badlands Overlook, Canyon sin nombre, Carrizo Creek Wash, to Arroyo Tapaida, Seco Del Diablo, Fish Creek, Split Mountain , Old Cane Springs Rd, to Harper Canyon Rd, Buttes Pass Rd, to the Slot, around to Borrego Mtn Wash, to Hills of the Moon, to Cut Across Trail, to Arroyo Salado Wash, to finish at the top of Calcite Mine.

Red Route : its simple really wheel through all of Painted Gorge trail network as we keep climbing upward to the top of the Carrizo Mountains for one hell of a view and accomplishment via route taken. After that we make our way down and out the back and shoot over to Superstition Mtn where we will do the same thing and climb to the top through soft sand, rock gardens, steep hill climbs, steep descents , and slots equating to the "Black Cat Trail" of the Superstition Mtns after that we haul ass via Power Line Rd across the entire desert to The finish Calcite Mine.

    Meet Time: 8am - 8:30am

    Where:
    Chevron Gas Station
1071 Imperial Hwy, Ocotillo, CA 92259
    +1 760-358-7501

    GPS Coordinates:
