I noticed about a month ago that my rear passenger tire sticks out around a half inch on the passenger side. I decided to let it go because I knew I wasn't having any tire wear issues or notice any wandering of the truck. But it was getting on my nerves because I noticed it every time I walked from behind the truck. I've done some research and other people have had the same problem, but the solution for them was the bed wasn't aligned properly. I know for sure it isn't the bed. I checked the offset of each tire from the frame and it definitely sticks out at least a half inch. My truck is a 2015 and was bought new. I have an Icon 3 leaf progressive pack installed with the overload removed. Fox 2.0 front and rear. The leaf springs looked to be aligned on the perches and the centering pin is in the hole on the perch. I couldn't figure out what was wrong so I took it to the dealer and they wouldn't even touch it. They blamed it on the aftermarket components, so they were useless.

The tires also have been rotated and the problem is consistent on that side, so its not the wheel.

I'm not really sure what to check at this point.

Could it be the leaf spring hangers?

The truck has never been in an accident.

    I can post pictures later.

    Thanks

I would check to make sure the springs haven't slide to one side of the bushing. I just replaced the bushing in my dakar's cause they slid around on the bushing and were up against the frame mount.

The springs and bushings look fine which is what I would expect being a 2015.

Take both back tires off and measure the offset of the rim... but a board, a straight edge across the tire and drop a tape measure then compare it to the other. Flip the tire over and do the same. Measure from the spring to the backing plate and compare on both sides.

Same issue on mine when I bought it. Previous owner had blocks in the back. The centering pin had wallowed out the hole in the axle.

My fix was new leaf packs and proper ubolt torque.

I have the same problem. I tried pulling it to the driver side while torquing down the u bolts but it wouldn't budge. The bed itself is aligned with the cab. I just left it as is.

The offset on the wheels is all the same. The distance from the perches to the leaf spring is the same

The hole on the perch is not wallowed out.

Hmmm maybe its a Toyota thing. Its kind of annoying though. I did notice that the leaf spring is not aligned the same on both sides in relation with the frame which is really weird; its about a 0.5" which is how much the axle is offset.

Germans build vehicles to the nearest mm. Americans to the nearest foot. Lol;)

My 2015 has the same issue. I've posted about it before. Bed seems to be aligned with the cab just fine but one tire sticks out just noticeably farther than the other. Like everyone else, I just dismissed it as a fluke in the system and left it as is.

A friend's 2017 TRD pro is the same way. Still haven't figured out what the problem is.
