Hey all, is anyone running a KC 30" LED Light Bar? Found lots of guys running Caliraised, Rigid, cheap Chinese, but haven't found anyone running a KC behind the grill. Anyone got pics or experience? Curious to see the light output. Thanks!

:hattip:Are ya looking at the 30" C-Series or the the FLEX bar? I don't have photos of em on the 3rd gens behind the grill, but I can help answer any other questions!

Looking at the 30" C-Series. Trying to get an idea of the light output compared to others out there. I've had KC lites on my Jeep in the past and was very happy with the light output, but seems like there's more options for a "behind the grill" 30" light bar.

Ah I gotcha. You're absolutely right in that there are a plethora of options out there, some of which are really hard to go wrong with. I can tell you that our quality has remained consistent over the years as we work with and develop the latest technology. If you were happy with the KCs on your Jeep, you'll be happy with em again on the Yota . You're looking at our C-Series which is our most cost-efficient line. When comparing to Rigid or Baja Designs, the 30" C-Series has specs that rival their bars that are double the price. To be honest, I'm not too sure on Cali Raised as they just don't give enough reliable information (such as lux/candela or beam distance) on the output of their lights as many other companies do.

Thanks for the info Taylor. I ordered one and I'm going to give it a go. If nothing else I'll be the first one on here to do it behind the grill and can show light output, etc. I'm excited to see how it looks!

Looks like they're the Heise light bars, not KC.

Couldn't find much info on people running Heise, but I get a feeling they're a cheap Chinese brand.

I saw their website and thought the same thing.
My main concern is that a legimate looking company, like Heise, has little to no information or reviews on their products!

Yeah I struggled to find anyone running them. May be legit, but without any reviews I don't want to be the first... :)

If it was just 99 bucks, id pull the trigger.... in the end i need a switch, a wiring harness, brackets, and my free time - i just cant bite the bullet to be first. The wife would kill me anyway so in the end not worth it lol

I run KC lights almost exclusively. Never had problems. I have old school halogens on my Jeep and have new LEDs on my truck.
