I know that there is a common problem out there with heat soaking on Toyota Tacoma's. I have heard several people talk about disconnecting the intake air temperature sensor but this does not apply to 1998 Tacoma's with 2.7 L engines That sensor is built into the mass airflow sensor. There is definitely something causing a heat soak on these engines so that the computer thinks that the engine is cold and floods the engine causing it not to start on hot days after the engine is turned off and 15 or 20 minutes has passed. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Mine does the same issue,, starts right up when hot if it hasn't set but just for a few minutes,, or it sits an hour, cranks right up,,, i've checked every sensor and vsv's on the truck.. I personally think it's going to be leaky injectors like it was on Jen's truck on the longest post in history. I'v e just been to lazy to check the injectors for leaking. IMHO
