WNY The Ruff Buff

gettingthe tweeters installed today and all I had was 14 gauge pure copper, that'll be ok? Not too heavy? Got the passenger side done and it sound pretty low compared to my old alpine 6.5 components with inline crossover. I'm gonna wait till both sides are done and see. Also, I have never had external crossovers before and to be honest am not really too confident on what I'm doing. I have them set at what image dynamics recommends right now which is tweeter set to 12db, attenuation to -4db and tweeter filter to 5kHz. Manual is a little vague for a newb like me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as my truck is completely pulled apart right now. Thanks.
