The side mount tray is no longer utilized in the Tacoma system. It is used in the 4Runner kits. I also no longer paint or sell that style tie down. This thread is all very old information. All new info can be found in the newest OGE thread....

    Matt,

Couple of questions with the recently purchased trays from your website. Truck is a 2016 TRD OR 6sp manual 4 door 4x4. I planned on getting the trays installed this weekend and did a quick test fit this afternoon. I noticed a couple of things.

    1. 2 of the 3 studs on the passenger side line up with the holes in the tray. The last stud is too far away to be captured. It looks as though this might be for a different year Tacoma? Maybe they changed the dimensions of these studs with the new generation.

    2. The bracket to hold the fuel resistor has 2 bolts while the actual resistor has only 1 bolt attaching it to the engine bay. Am I missing something here?

The directions that came in the package were for 2005-2015 Tacomas. Is it possible the wrong tray was sent?

Any insight you have would be extremely helpful - trying to get this dual battery set up done before a trip in late May.

Take a look at the other side of the 2005-2015 instruction sheet. The 2016-2017 instructions are on the back.

All of your questions should be answered there. If for some reason, the instructions did not print on both sides, let me know and I'll send you some.

    Thanks!

I'm going to chalk this one up to a long day at work... can't believe I didn't turn the damn instruction sheet over. Yes, all of my questions were answered and I will get this installed this weekend. Great product and can't thank you enough for the quick responses and customer service.

    Shit on a black truck.
Do you do any custom work? @HeliMedic I'm looking for basically your passenger side battery mount but not putting a battery in there haha. Looking to mount a warn control module on the side that bolts to the fender and later on a compressor air tank in the rest of the space somehow.
