I currently have Hawk HPS brake pads on my truck. I'm getting tired of all the red brake dust that the Hawk pads leave behind. I know a lot of people on here run Akebono pads. I've read through a lot of reviews on these pads but was wondering in everyone's opinion how well they like them? Do they have good bite? I've heard they don't dust very much, do you agree?
The Hawk pads aren't bad I'm just wondering if there is actually much of a difference between the two?
    Thanks

Have Akebono on my 98. Really like them. I also recommend switch to steel braided lines as that will make the most. Noticeable difference IMO

I already have the steel braided lines. They made a huge difference. I also have the tundra brake upgrade, which I love. I was mainly wanting to know if the Akebono pads are a good pad or not.

I really like them. Minimal brake dust also.
