Tried plugging my USB device into my 2017 Tacoma to play some music and I can't even get the USB option on my screen to light up. After some reading on the forums I tried reformatting the drive to FAT32 but still doesn't work. Can someone let me know what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks.

    What type of audio files?
    Fat32 should be good.

Plug the USB in, open the drive. Open the folder if there is one. Check the file type. I don't think the truck will support apple lossless unless it's through an ipod/iPhone.

Well, there's your problem right there.

itunes exports your files as mp4 unless you specify mp3.

    BTW...

I've had enough with all the band wagon people. iTunes (and all of apple for that matter) should be shut down. Bring back Napster and make those hippies get a real job. The talent was better, when they weren't making a buck, because that was the only way you made it.
(Same thing applies to college and professional sports) Save the singing and song writing for your sweetheart, not for how much you can shake it!
