Picked up my first taco today in Mass. I am from Torrington. Next mods are a 1.5" lift, new rims/tires, plasti-dip front and back bumpers, plasti-dip grill.

Thanks man. She is pretty clean. 120k one owner. I got lucky. Hoping to get 250k+ out of her. Just moved back to CT (South Norwalk) from Mass but will have to keep the Mass plates for a while. The Connecticut plates are so much better looking!

 

Ya man I got 233 out of my first gen before I traded it in on my second gen and honestly the motor had probably another 100k left in her but the frame and the whole front end was getting pretty sketchy to be a DD, I really wish I kept that truck and SASd it

 

Aight peeps. Here's what I'm going to be doing about the wheels, or thinking of doing.

Thinking of texting the pics of the wheels to the wife to see what she says/thinks. Good idea or bad idea?

 

Ya but see buy em first and then do all that so if she's not a fan tell er well sorry darling I've already bought them and all sales are final hahaha

I guess I'm worried about trying to do the right thing, and not get myself into trouble. Not so sure she'd approve, but I guess at this point I'd rather not get myself into any more trouble in the end, than what I already am.

Wife is cool with me getting the wheels, under the premise that I can sell my stockers and swap the tires to the "new" wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO!!!!!! I don't think I'll be able to make it, as much as I'd like to.

My father in law leaves for the mother land that day, and I got "volunteered" to take him to the airport without knowing, and so far we haven't been able to get anyone else to taken him. FML.

 

Everything is in motion to get the wheels picked up. Whenever Rebecca is able to she'll pick them up, and then whenever she's in CT for work she'll bring them down.

 

Morning Nutmeggers! There's 'no beefs to settle' here! I was helping my friend, Nuno, through an ethical dilemma - to tell the Mrs or not... I know Portuguese women can hold a grudge and didn't want to see him in the dog house. Glad to see it worked out!
