I live on the gulf coast too, do you just spray 303 interior on the fabric and let it dry?

Yes, spray on liberally. Dries in about 20-30 minutes. I open the doors to help dry.
Reapply about every 3-4 months. Great stuff. Better than the Scotch brand.

Guys-- notice there are now two 303 fabric products. FABRIC GUARD is recommended for exterior (patio umbrellas, convertible tops, etc). STAIN GUARD is for interior seats and materials (newer blue bottle).

    That's how I understand the current line-up.

I've heard that the FABRIC GUARD is some harsh stuff (fumes, skin contact, etc). Maybe they toned it down a little with the STAIN GUARD for interior use. That's just speculation on my part. There's a thread over on AG with some info direct from the Manufacturer. I'll see if I can find it...

Yeah I'm going to stop in tomorrow and pick up a bottle of it and there Ultimate Compound. Some low-life scratched the cab of my truck and I'm hoping I can rub the scratches out.

Meguiar's are good products. Some people just get brain washed by Chemical Guys and Adams.

Have you ever used Adams or Chemical Guys?

I love Meguiars for my rigs. I use the supreme shine. It's also awesome on the tires too.

I love 303, but I don't use it on my dash anymore. The first time I did, it evaporated up onto the inside of the windshield the next morning. Now I just use it on exterior trim.

The black plastic molding? I may give that a try.

A whole lot of stuff. The tires, mudflaps, inner wheel wells, the frame, the bed rails, and even the bed. Not the floor of the bed though because then it becomes slick as snot.

Thanks.. Don't think I'll bother with the wheel wells or frame but the bed sides and mud guards I will do.

I only did it occasionally when I was taking my truck to a cars and coffee. It cleans up nicely!

The DG253 holds up much better on exterior and it's a lot cheaper than 303. It's a little more like a sealant than a dressing. Great stuff.

I just ordered some 303 Aerospace and I was wondering do you clean the interior prior to using the 303? I remember seeing the manual it says to wipe down the interior with a wet towel and to add a bit of neutral detergent if it needs cleaning. What is neutral detergent in the first place? What is everyone's process for interior detailing?

I generally just use a microfiber towel and dust it off, and then use the 303. If you want to clean it first, you could check out this stuff. It does a good job of cleaning without leaving any greasy feel.

It is cloudy today and I got to looking at what I thought were scratches on my truck. Turned out to be tree sap where I hand washed my truck but smeared the tree sap in that one spot. Was happy it was not scratched. Took it into town this morning a high pressured washed that spot off. All is good!

Stopped at Walmart and picked up a Fram cabin filter.... with tax... $18.08 . Won't do that anymore, I'll just order 5 of a different name brand filters on Amazon and get free shipping. Guess the "Fram" name costs something.

^^^ I'll get these next time.

I've got a stack of those Amazon filters. They're just fine.

Unless there's visible grime that won't wipe off, just wipe down with a wet microfiber. Then apply the 303.
