tacoma vibration when slowing down until warm (option)

2009 tacoma

I own a 2009 Tacoma (base) 4cyl from day one I have had a annoying vibration when
coming to a stop.
My wife who is completely oblivious to any car problems felt it.
As a retired auto mechanic I decided to see if it was transmission or brakes.
Brakes ok. Transmission in D position when cold causes the problem.
I found if you drive it in the #3 position until warm eliminates the vibration.
Happy wife!
Ps. I hope some day they will have a recall to fix (ghost problem)
