No denying it's a pretty badass truck. My only complaint is that 10 speed auto.

I wish they offered a manual too, although the 10 speed auto is getting rave reviews.

I like the new raptor, but it's pretty wide, difficult to park I would think, at least in west L.A., also pricier than the taco. I recall some off road type magazine I read recently wrote a 17' pro could keep up w/ a 17' raptor, but it was just one line of text, no elaboration. Anyone know of a comparison, or driven/ ridden in both?

The Pro can easily keep up with the Raptor, if the Raptor is towing the Pro....:) There is no comparison, the Raptor is a lot better vehicle IMO, and it's not even close in acceleration between the two. But it come at $20k more (for similar spec). If it was smaller one would be sitting in my driveway.

Over 500 ft/lb torque and 450hp.... I doubt it. That truck is made to be a desert racer wannabe. The Taco is a great truck, but I don't see one handling dunes and whoops like that in stock form.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
This makes me think of those shitty videos the manufacturers make where they're jumping trucks and smashing the suspension. They act like this kind of shit is OK to do in a truck from the dealer lot. Wow.

Also: another quality turd gen poster. Posting a shitty Ford video in the 3rd gen section.

Only reason I didn't get one (Raptor) was the price :p I don't make that kind of money...yet :p
