So last night tried to start truck and nothing, dead like a mofo. Charger battery to 100% and tried again later. Turned key to first position and interior light and dash lights came on. Second position all went dead, then ticked like low battery.

Check related fuses and all good. Anyone have this happen? Might have towed Monday to mechanic to figure out.

    Thanks in advance!

    Battery is toast.

To confirm hook a volt meter up to it while you attempt to start it. It will drop well below 10v if it's fubar.

Battery, mine went just like that on my 2015 almost 1 year to the day from the day of purchase. I wasn't about to drive 40 minutes to have them put another shitty battery in that would crap out in a year and leave me stranded so I bought one.

Dead battery. Don't care if it was charged.

Save a mechanic bill. Pull the battery, take to parts house and have load tested just to verify.

    Then buy new battery.

A weak cell will charge enough to make most battery chargers think the battery is charged, and power up a few lights and the ECU--but when called upon to actually contribute some significant amperage it cannot, drains flat very fast leaving you with basically just a 5-cell battery...
