What a beautiful spot to camp! Reminds me of Split Mountain region of Borrego!

I bought the Rightline Gear SUV tent. I absolutely love it. It fit great with the camper shell. I would recommend using some foam pipe insulation on the edge of the rear door to keep it from ripping the tent. I had to use the extra long straps that connects to the windshield wipers. I just bought a Yakima rack....I haven't used the tent yet with the rack. I slept inside the camper shell....I have a platform and a regular size air mattress. The tent is my "living room". It has a 7' ceiling.

Got to do a test run with my new step last weekend.

I pulled the trigger on an axe and mounted in place of the hatchet and I added a shovel mount. I need to buy a slightly longer shovel or a longer handle.

    E70F11CE-78E5-4014-868B-97CC94C45D93_zps_6d757237ba8a13f767f514e25f83427f664f001f.jpg

The new water jug discussed earlier worked well too.

Having a dedicated kitchen was awesome too. Everything kitchen related is in 1 tote now. Makes setup, cooking, and clean up MUCH easier.

Same goes for camping gear. Everything I need is in 1 tote.

The best part of everything being overly organized is when I get home, its 100 times easier to put shit away. Then its all ready and organized for the next trip. I cant believe with my OCD I didnt organize stuff better before.

We called this home for the weekend -

The tarp was kinda an after thought since there was a chance of rain.

Im currently working a building a slightly smaller, over engineered awning that'll attach to the roof rack.

For some reason I could just tell these were shot in Oregon without even noticing the license plates.

Which part was it? I miss my home state...!

Im glad I bought 1. Im really happy with it. My only complaint is having to unstrap and flip it 90* to use but thats not a real problem.
