I was under my truck investigating a leak when I noticed that my lower control arm is pinched inside the frame !! On both sides actually, but this side is way worse than the other. If my LCA bushings ever go its going to be impossible to get the control arm out of the frame to change them. There's nothing to grip on to bend it back, and its pretty thick. Help! What should I do? Just run it until it becomes an issue?

I'm not familiar with this problem but I don't think this answer applies to anything lol.

Put some PB Blaster on the threads a few days before you plane to work on it too.

No sir, it definitely happened on the last wheeling trip I went on. I bottomed out pretty hard a few times, and it wasn't all bent like that when i installed my lift a few days before.

Thanks for the replies guys. I realize now that the control arm should be able to slide out if it's unbolted. I didn't really look close enough.

Just get in there with a prybar and start cranking away. You'll be able to bend the mount back no problem. It won't be perfectly straight anymore but it doesn't have to be.

One of mine was slightly bent when I replaced my control arm bushings a few weeks ago. A prybar did the job with ease.
