I'm looking for suggestions about a coating for my bed racks. I live in the PNW and rust is a problem. I'm thinking about a rhino-lining type product or a rust-o-leum product. Anyone on here have experience with either or both and can provide some insight?

    Thanks!
    Nick

I have used the oil based rustoleum that you brush on. Used on a trailer in gloss red and the underside of several project vehicles with a fiat black. If you use a foam smooth surface roller you can get a smooth finish with some dippling effect like a powdercoat. The oil based paint is pretty robust, just an idea that I think I am going to try on my winch bumper.
