Hey those speed bumps are unreal nowadays and are only getting higher and higher. Before you know it even Pirus will need lift kits

I did plenty of off roading in my younger days in the military at the gov't dime. There wasn't a speed bump my humvee couldn't crawl over :D

I eventually want to install the LCE SC (low boost). Just me personally, I don't want to get all too kray kray on the HP's, but just want that little bit more power. Plus, it is basically a straight bolt on, for the most part. That, along with LCE headers and/or Doug Thorley headers with a cat back system to complete. That's not including tires/wheels, etc!!! :goingcrazy::frusty::annoyed::facepalm:

Yup the central air deflation system is pretty sweet  The blind spots on them put the FJ to shame. They were a blast to drive but loud AF! Super easy to maintain too unless your a grunt aka infantry driver

LOL the humvee were so wide they barely fit on Japanese roads and that's why we had a "A" driver who sits shotgun to watch our blind spots.

The Japanese did have a version like the humvee and it is built by Toyota. Pretty sweet too and probably more reliable then our humvees

I rode in one and it was like riding in Kings and our humvees felt like we were riding on spacers and blocks

Well, by far, the most common handheld is the Baofeng UV-5R (about $25, not including tax/shipping) or the UV-5R V2+ (about $35, not including tax/shipping). Finally, get an aftermarket antenna and you WILL thank me later that you did. A decent aftermarket antenna is the Nagoya NA-701/717/771 (NOTE: the 771 is pretty good, but a long antenna inside of a cab can be a bit of a PITA).

Now you have to think about wattage output? Some people have radio setups outputting 50+ Watts, which is pretty gnarly, but you can cause interference within a group if outputting that much within close proximity, but they also typically have different wattage settings as well. Quite a bit starts to get involved and it all depends on what you want in the end.

The next time we meet up I can show you a few things as well so that you can learn some things that you can do when out on a trail.
