I saw in another thread, which I lost track of...doi, and on some other forum websites that some Tacoma owners were taking those useless cubby holes and installing an LED lamp into it and running it to the hot wire for tow hitch. I also want to install a little switch for it in one of the other cubbys for a little added feature. Im also trying to keep this on the line of inexpensive as fuck but not shitty.

So a few question if anyone would like to weigh in or throw some literature my way.

Any LED lamp reccomendations. Im considering a colored lamp for fashion vt white for function.

Is it worth it to get water proof lamps and installing them in the front cubby holes vs using the covers on the rear cubby holes and installing them there?

Reccomended wiring setups? It would be fucking killer to run them up to the cab and install a tasteful switch board for any other future lighting mods I plan on doing, but I will settle until I get more comfortable dealing with this type of mod.

Thanks a bunch! Also Ive got an access cab sr5.
