Yup, that way you limit droop. Same thing out on the trail/side of the road if you have to jack it up to change a tire or get unstuck.

Heading to Moab in the morning till Sunday. Should be a good week. Running golden spike and cliff hanger and probably a few others.

See...you learn new tricks everyday :D

Never had to worry about these things before because I had close to zero wheel travel with IFS lol. One pump with my aluminum floor jack and the tire would be off the ground haha. Now it is a bit more complicated haha

If it is for the Easter Jeep Safari it is actually the worst time of the year to go there. The trails get so frickin' crowded with that event is not even funny. Looooooooooong waits to get on trails, very slow movement on the trails, etc. A lot of people show up for that event.

It's for EJS but normally the time my dad and his buddies go. Doesn't matter to me. Signed up for those two trails and will run what we can. Should still be fun. Better than not going lol

Yea I'm kind of a build thread whore. I have one on TW in the other builds section, RST, Marlin, Yota Tech.... I do a lot of reading so I naturally have a few pages that I frequent. I'm on Instagram as well under my username boomtacoma01...

What's wrong with putting a bottle jack under the axle?

True. Very helpful tip if you only bring a high lift jack. Most truck owners do carry ratchet straps anyway.

If you have to jack it up by the frame, or cannot put jackstands under the axle foe whatever reason.

That is really the bigger issue...jacking it up by the frame. When you have a lot of axle droop front/rear it becomes a challenge. So limiting axle movement is the way to go

because a bottle jack wont reach my axle let alone get the tire off the ground.
