Lund has some that don't have the exposed rivets. That's what I'd look at.

I Google'd it and there were a bunch of threads. That was one from when they first came out, forgot I even posted in that thread too.

how much farther do the bushwackers s stick out/ cover over the factory trd OR flares?

think the bushwackers stick out 1.3F and 1.5R?

and the guy who posted about the bushwackers scratching his truck said there was a cut out version but i've not been able to find anything except pocket style.

Been doing some research on fender flares and really leaning towards the bushwackers, my main concern though is securement, does anyone know if the rubber edging has an adhesive that fixes to the body or is it just the main bolts that keep it secured...

The rubber has adhesive that sticks to the flare not tge body. The way its made, pretty tight to the body when bolted up. The cheap Amazon ones come with trim but no adhesive backing. Also cheap plastic rivits. They are also made if cheap plastics that will break and not bend. The bushwackers will bend more than break. I sent back the $200 amazon ones and opted for the real deal. Paint and 3m cost more than the actual bushwhackers. $1300 cad but couldnt be happier12CE8073-B177-4051-88DB-9BC7C8A5B9E4.jpg

Furthermore, had to spend another $200 to get the rokblocz xl mudflaps as they are the only ones that are compatible with bushwhackers....need to drill a hole in the bushwackers tho

I'd pay the $$ for quality any day, i was reading about the Amazon fenders also, so probably going to go legit. Thanks for the insight:bowdown:. The silver on silver looks CLEAN, did you paint them?, kinda debating if quicksand on quicksand would look just as good.

I ordered some RekGen mudflaps, so hoping those work with these fenders when i (eventually) get them :fingerscrossed:

Black is fine as well, i just got a silver theme goin, so continued with it. Also put bedliner on the fake bolts and rivits to go eith the black silver look. I got a pro to paint the flares as i wanted a professional finish. 3m the entire thing which was sorta pain in the ass, but after the paint, didntvwant to wreck it. Tbh, not sure anout the tekgen but i know the rokblocz do work and look pretty decent on it too

Someone said the lunds are manufactured by the same people as bushwackers, so that may be a cheaper route
