Picked up a pristine 1998 Buick LeSabre Custom a couple weeks ago with 54K original miles on on the clock and only paid a grand for it. Driven as a weekend car by an elderly couple and has been meticulously maintained. Came with maintenance records in a folder dating back to 1998. Folder is about 2" thick and has documents of everything ever done to the car.

Prior to buying it, the previous owner installed 4 brand new tires and took it in for a complete "tune up" at their local independent mechanic. This will become my daily driver to keep the miles off of my truck. It has the 3800 Series II L36 engine, which seems to be a solid powerplant capable of longevity. The Silver Bullet rides like a damn cloud, gets 30mpg on the highway, and with only 54K miles I expect it to last me for quite a while with the proper maintenance.

Maintenance list to be completed -

    (4) new tires - done
    Belts
    Hoses
    Thermostat
    Water Pump
    Fuel filter
    Air Filter
    Amsoil engine oil/transmission oil
    Wix transmission filter
    PCV valve
    Spark plugs/wires

Going to wash/claybar/wax this weekend and apply Aerospace 303 to all trim pieces interior and exterior this weekend. Plan to get the windows tinted to 35%, swap out the headunit for one with bluetooth, and repair the sagging headliner over the back seats.

Last but not least, pics of the "new" horse in the stable. :D
