What is the used market like right now for 3rd gens?

I'm not sure that bodes well or supports higher prices (pre-owned or new) when production capacity limitations aren't driving the reduction in units moved. Not sure of his area but, I can find the Limited Tacoma in my area discounted ~ $2k and that's before I even visit the dealership.

Maybe % of production, but overall Tacoma sales are up. Below numbers are from year end reports.

The decline reflects YoY YTD & March 2016 vs 2017.

I'm used to being able to sell cars on Craigslist, albeit at a much lower price, and move them in 1-2 weeks. I've been looking to upgrade to a 2017 or a Tundra and can't seem to move my Taco. It's been posted for a month and I'm not getting any offers. It's a 2016 Limited and I have it listed for $36,000 out here in Seattle. I know KBB has the value a little bit lower, but my Taco is the lowest priced limited in all of WA/OR.

How do you guys feel about the used market right now? I'm not in a rush to sell, but I can lower the price if needed. I'm just surprised there isn't much interest.

I bought brand new because the new 3rd gens were cheaper than anything that was certified pre owned in my area. I really wanted a 2015.

I have been burned buying used trucks so I'm leary of them. If I was looking for a used tacoma and if its withen 3k or there abouts of a new one I would buy the new one. But thats just me.
