I got mine! It's a monolith, lol. Opening height (flush on floor, no mount plates) is 41" peak swing.

It also says "To avoid compressor DAMAGE, fridge must sit upright ... for 24 hours prior to starting ... [or} VOID warranty."

The invoice says "... MUST REMAIN UPRIGHT AT LEAST 1 HOURS BEFORE TURNING ON!"

As much as it pains me, I'm going to wait a little over 24 hours.

I have mine mounted inside the cab (took out the rear seat and built a platform for it). The height of the 51 seemed a little high to open inside the cab.

So, i made it work for me. With the way it opened, it would hit the ceiling and wouldn't stay up by itself.

Now it opens fully inside the cab without issue, and seals properly.

The pics were posted in the original group buy thread, I'll add the pics and links to the hinge/latch to my build thread they are ready to find after i grab some breakfast.

That's brilliant! But, I'm gonna let mine run a while, this looks like a "warranty voider" if I have ever seen one. lol.

Seals just like new, maybe better. So not much to worry about IMO. But... I modify everything to work how I want it to as soon as it comes out of the box, so I'm used to it. I may be

Has anyone gotten a price for the Ironman insulated bag to fit the TB51a?

EDIT: I found it for $105.75 + S&H If someone knows of a better deal I'd certainly be interested.

Anyone else's fridge show up like super shittly packed? I mean, everything looks intact but the packing is super loose for such a big box.

EDIT: Looks like FedEx repackaged it according to my tracking information. Go figure.

Also this Ironman cover fits like a glove, has mesh for all the vent locations and has a clear cover over the LCD on the fridge!

Best price I found as well, from Amazon. Ended up being 110.24 total and showed up in 2 days even though it said shipping was going to take like 1-2 weeks.

Strange, the fridge fit exactly inside the box for me and most others I've seen posted.

Ouch. I'd save a ton of money and forgo the clear lcd cover since that seems to be the only difference.

Still not sure the insulation does anything unless the sun is beating on it but i put it back on because it has pockets on the side that are nice.

Yeah i doubt it will, since your attracting the heat with a black cover only to try and dissapate it again. I had it off and only put it back on for the pockets.

And I'd say tint is nice, but vent visors may be just as great. Keep the temps down with fresh air. I'm not a tint person, but vent visors are always a first purchase.

Well, just double checked my tracking from FedEx, looks like FedEx repackaged it. Hence the shitty job.

    Jackwagons!

I'd inspect it well and let it sit upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in.

Yeah, waiting the 24 hours. I've taken it out and looked it all over and it seems to be fine from a visual standpoint.
