This is only my 2nd post, but have always joined the respective forum for the vehicle i owned at the time. These places are very helpful, along with another site I recently found. As a member of the military I have an AKO Army Knowledge Online account and found an automiotive help section. This section has a couple links and a complete Chiltons book. Looks like I just may become a back yard mechanic or driveway mechanic in my case. Always willing to do some of my own work once I get to know the vehicle a bit.

Question: I just bought a 2006 Tacoma SR5 model 4x4, with LSD no other traction controls on it. Any way to run the VIN and get a build sheet. I would like to see what the truck came standard with and what the previous owner had as add ons.

    Thanks
    Rick
