Down in SoCal visiting family and decided to look for some trails I could take my 10-year-old nephew on. Found some trails in the Santa Ana Mountains that were just right for exercising the suspension and transfer case. Nothing terribly challenging, but a good first trail for the old girl.

Yep. It had an easy life. It was my GF's commuter. This is the first time it's actually been on something resembling off-road.

Nice! I'm looking to do the same thing on some familiar trails here in Colorado. I don't think the former owner ever actually wheel'd the Tacoma. Not complaining about that either.

I can't help but smile any time I read this. Got this Tacoma with 138k easy miles and a stack of service records for routine maintenance. I'm all kinds of eager cut loose on this rig and get back up into (and past) the tree line here in Colorado Springs.

Looking good, brother. Nice looking taco. I know I keep saying it, but, I love that wheel and tire combo. Very clean looking truck.
