I think most of that is state park land so no shooting. You can go to a nice range down in Carson City though, a little farther away but it is a nice place. Other wise you have to go to truckee, I know a few spots out there.

    ...too much shit to list.
All the spots within the basin are closed this time of year. They close the gates in the winter.

Nevada side isn't a state park, it's national.

Nice, I'm thinking of doing an international trip this year also. Either Whistler or Hakone.

Yes, I would love to ride Japan someday as well.

If you're going to even consider Whister, up your Tahoe Local pass while you can to the Epic Local. (Whistler and Blackcomb are included on that pass with the same blackout dates we have to Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood)

I'm over here with my single resort pass...

At least it was only $289 :bananadance:

I'm looking for some ski's if anyone comes across something.

I'm mostly a snowboarder but have picked up skiing again while my young kids learn. So i'm not looking for anything fancy just nicer than the old ski's my buddy is letting me borrow.

Probably something in the 180+cm range with hopefully a 90mm underfoot; all mountain type ski.

I have a pair of Rossi S3s I'm moving on from. I think 177cm. Rode them for a few years but I took great care of em. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. I keep them at my families cabin in Truckee but could grab them sometime soon

    I might be. Thanks

    I’m 6’3” about 185#

All the size charts put me in the mid 180s cm.

I’m still in the beginning to intermediate stage of skiing though so maybe shorter skis would help?

I'm 6'1/6'2 and was around 180 when riding these (stupid wedding weight). Smaller skis are definitely easier to maneuver as a beginner. I think when it's that close you won't notice a difference. The S3s are a good intermediate ski that will carry you as you progress. I'm definitely an advanced skier and I never felt that they couldn't keep up. Loved them
I think if you were heavier it would be harder to downsize a tad. Though I'm not too techy with that stuff
