    They not only stole my truck, but they stole a year and a half off of my retirement and my retirement plans, so now I have to work until December 2019, instead of June 2018.

    Gave my best attempt at straightening out my VERY bent 2nd gen tailgate. As per usual, went about it in the most redneck fashion imaginable. Welded some eye bolts on, put it under a table, strapped it to a forklift, and ratcheted it till it looked straight enough. It's very rare that my stupid ideas actually work, so today was a nice victory. Not the prettiest fix, but cap closes nicely, and who really gives a shit, I'm gonna put more dents in anyhow. ;) Also, threw a 1/8 steel bar in for reinforcement, kinda nice that it gave the tailgate a bit of weight too.

    Here's the overhead view, you can see how badly it was bent, and when you'd step on it you could feel the whole thing flex. Very irritating.
