Anybody know if you can fit the TRD Pro center caps on the Sport wheels? Just from pics they look very similar in shape, but I can't find good pics of the backs of them.

I was curious of that too but wondered if they fit the Off Road wheels.

This should be something really easy for somebody with a shop or who works at a dealer to check easy

OR and Sports have a different pattern and will not. Not sure about the first post.

    F....thanks man.

I actually like the Sport wheels allot. I just don't like the Toyota center cap. Much rather see a red TRD in there. Anybody have any ideas that don't involve buying wheels,

When I switched out my stock Sport wheels for 17" FJ's I bought a set of TRD center caps and they of course didn't fit. Then I purchased another set of TRD center caps, different part number, supposedly for FJ's and they also didn't fit. Needless to say I spent about 5 days stripping, wet sanding, painting them black and clearing coating the stock FJ center caps and they turned out great and look OEM.

For S&G's I tried to see if they'd fit the stock Sport wheels and also no dice. It appears getting TRD center caps to fit non-TRD wheels requires the caps being modified with a dremel. I opted to just return the one set and the other is just sitting in a box taking up space.

Perfect, I have a dremel! How much modifying, you think?

Those are awesome. Fit on without any mods or anything?

No mods. They don't fit as tight as the original center caps but they stay securely on the wheels. I have had them on for a couple thousand miles with no problems. Bonus is they are much easier to remove when needed. I was always afraid of breaking something removing the originals.

FJ/4Runner OEM cap perfect fit no mods on Sport wheel. Ordered and purchased from local dealer over 3 years ago, cost about $10 each. Nice to have a friends in the parts dept! (Pardon, I know this is a gen3 thread, but had to add my 0.02 cents worth.)

No problem staying on to date, nearly four years on the vehicle.
Black caps would be great on Sport alloy wheels painted black. Go for it!
