So after looking on the forum I found how to take off the drivers door panel. I took out the 2 screws holding the armrest on and the one holding the door release handle. I couldnt for the life of me figure out why it wouldnt come off...well the door release you move the bezel towards the hinges and it pops loose. the rest are just clips.

I get the door panel off down to wires, one set for the light the rest for the windows and locks. I look at the switch area and I didnt even need to take off the panel!!!:annoyed: you basically can take the front part of the plastic piece that holds all the switches and pry up gently on the point side and it pops up and you then slide it forward and have full access to the window switch:oops:

Reason I had to take it out was the drivers side window was sticking and finally just about didnt roll up. I just replaced the whole switch and everything is back to normal.

Just for giggles I opened up the old switch and the contacts were corroded/arced from years of use. So if your power window switch is sticking/intermittent and you want to save a couple bucks, clean the contacts and try your switches it might get the switch working again. If you take apart your switch make sure its in the upright position when you take it apart. Otherwise you have 2 springs and a couple of contacts that will pop out. The window lock also has a small piece of plastic that needs to be pushed in to get it back together.
