Just my experience here. I have a 2004 TRD I purchased in South Carolina and had to bring it home to MA. Been heavily fluid fliming it since I got it. been 3 years. All looks great, but the leafsprings still show signs of rust. Want to mention I used Wax oil from aerosol cans. (got it from RoversNOrth. ) and put it on a MA vehicle. (dodge durango) After 2 years it became hard and was lousey. Fluid Film was much better. I am sold on fluid film.. (However before I registrered my S.C. truck in MA I painted all the frame welds with rust converter, painted the entire inside of the frame with the eastwood green stuff, then painted the whole frame with Rust bullet, then ff the daylights out of it. I have been living in MA for many years and this is the first rust free vehicle I have ever had ) I am really into FF and am thinking about a small business of applying it in my garage (I have a lift) when I retire. Being selfish here but would any of you folks on this fourm pay 150$ to a home business type guy to get your truck fluid filmed? I am thinking about 175$ if I remove the taillights and spray in there.
    Thank you for any replies.

I guess rust is not a problem for trucks that don't last as long as Tacoma does. The engine or powerterain will die way before the rust eat the frame.
