Toyota's are actually all notorious for this problem. Put some glue on the area's where the moulding clips into the roof, and it'll hold.

Do you know where you can get the weather strip besides the dealership?

I had the exact same thing happen. After whacking the back of the cab a couple times it flew off and got ran over by a semi behind me on the interstate. I picked it up and it was slightly scratched up on one side. Still under warranty so I took it to dealer for a new one (and I didn't give them the old one so they wouldn't just stick it back in).

Anyone have a glue type they would recommend for sticking this down?

I currently have a Toyota roof rack on my truck, but want to take it off. I have the weather strip that I took off. I think it should be pretty easy to put back on after reading this thread, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if I should plug the holes that the oem rack bolts to. If so any recommendations for what to use. Thanks.

I'd install a stainless bolt with a rubber washer before reinstalling the rubber.

Maybe even add a little non-permanent thread lock.

Anyone know where I can find a part number for these or a catalog or something currently coming up empty.

I'm looking for replacement gasket/stripping for my rooftop because I'm taking the OEM Tacoma rack off and putting on one from upTOP. Any ideas where we can find a replacements? I haven't had any luck either.
