My truck has only 8k miles on it. I filled up the tank day before yesterday and brought it back straight home from Costco. No crashes, no jumps, nothing. Have never been off-roading. I thought I smelled gas around the driveway yesterday, but couldn't figure it out. And today morning I saw a large puddle underneath. When I looked down below, there was a persistent leak ... drip drip drip. Called ToyotaCare, they are coming to tow the truck right now.

I want to know if anyone else has experienced this and if it's a known problem? Couldn't find anything through a google search. Thanks!

Good thing you had Toyota care pick it up. It's a scary thought driving a leaking car. Good that you caught it.

One time while driving behind a truck, I saw a metal part fall out and it went underneath my truck and I heard it hit. Once I got to work, I smelled gas and it was leaking out. It put a small hole in my gas tank.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Hoping for a good resolution OP.

Hope some jokers didn't try to drill into your tank to siphon fuel.

I believe today morning would be this morning.

Leaking fuel no good. Last time I saw this was because fuel robbers cut the fuel hose to siphon the tank.

Keep us updated as to what happens.

Plenty of gas leaking from my truck, it was determined to be coming from a 52 year old man with an unhealthy diet.

Better get the gas off the asphalt drive, wash it with a hose . If you don't it will destroy the asphalt......I have been down this road, gas and asphalt es no bueno.
