Makes sense, im in this for the long haul and dont want to be scrapping out parts in a few months or years cause they dont last. Thats one of the reasons why im trying to decide the best kit right now without spending 3g's for OME top kits. Not trying to break the bank but definitely not cheaping out either. I want quality/durability and obviously looks/function as well. Ive heard a lot of great things about Rancho, the general consensus here though is that Bilstein/ome are preferred over it

thinking about either of these right now.. maybe subbing out the rear AAF for the OME dakars. Just read a bunch of great stuff on them on this forum as well about them

You also need to ask yourself what your intentions are with the truck...will you be wheeling with the truck, towing?, mall crawling?...that's what will decide what lift will be best for you. What I didn't like about these lifts you have listed is no UCA, I recommend them when doing a lift for alignment reasons.

I had the Rancho kit on this 07 quicklift front and RS 9000 with a wheelers HD AAL in the rear. Worked fine for me.

I have the exact same truck except with 4x4.. 2007, Silver, Double Cab. Thats the 3" lift? Looks great, getting me excited to lift mine.

You had the kit with the control arms included right? Were you able to get it back to factory alignment ok? How was the ride quality with the HD AAL's? How was the overall ride quality for the kit?

I didnt have the control arms just quicklift fronts and rs9000s in the rear then the aal. Ride was fine. Adjustable so it was easy to find a ride setting. The aal worked well. My local alignment shop was able to get it in the green on their machine so it was good. Haven't decided what I am gonna do on the new 09...

Checked out your build, you still running the 5100's with 885 coils? With dakars in the rear? How is that setup working out for you? I dont go off-road a lot but I tow my boat + camper a lot in the summer so I dont want to get cheap suspension parts. Kinda sold on the dakars already, sound like theyre worth the extra couple hundred bucks. Trying to figure out front suspension now, still looking for close to a 3" lift or level if possible

Great color, had my eye on a cherry red 09 when I was buying but got a fairly good deal for my 07 and coulding justify spending another 4 grand on the same truck 2 years newer with a diff color. The 3" looked great on your 07

I'm still running 885s on 5100s with 1/4" spacers. I'm going to take out the spacers and replace them with 1/2" spacers. The 5100s have plenty of travel to handle it.

I got the Rancho with blocks kit for a total of $420 with free shipping. If you can get the Billies for that....do it.
