I used the search function to try to find an answer before posting a new thread, but had no luck finding exactly what I was after, so here goes.

I just bought a 2017 SR5 Double Cab. I have the Dark Satin 16x7 wheels and like the looks of them, so I plan to keep them. The stock tires are horrible and have already shown to unworthy of even muddy well site roads. Just like most I figure if I am going to need new tires I might as well consider a size upgrade while I am at it.

I would like to know if I will be able to mount 275/65r16 Goodyear Duratracs on the stock 16x7 wheels without any kind of issues? Would I need spacers with this setup for everything to work smoothly? For the time being the suspension will remain stock, but a 3" inch lift may happen down the road.

I have researched online trying to figure it out on my own, but you folks seem to know your stuff. Any knowledge you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

That's an odd size, they are actually a half inch shorter than stock tires

I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.
I have a 2009 OR with those exact tires.. pretty sure the stock rims are the same. 60,000 miles and no issues yet.

forgot to mention I started out stock with that size and went to a 3" lift. I wasn't stock long and didn't really wheel it then, I don't remember any real running issues though.

Edit: I have 265/75/16 sized tires... I'm assuming that's what you meant you have.

Lol...I see from looking at your link you may have been through this one a time or two very recently.

Like I said, I tried the search, but wasn't quite finding all of the answers. I appreciate the response I just don't want to get myself into more BS than I need to when I spend the money on tires. Thanks again, sir.

Looks good...I've been going back and forth on which lift for mine, but no rush I probably won't do it fit quite a while.
