What would you do if you had (or have) a brand new black Taco?

I was wondering how often everyone waxes their vehicles. 4x per year sounds like a solid plan.

Yeah if I waxed 4 times a year I would use butter wax. Easy on easy off. Another good thing about butter wax you can apply it right after you rinse the truck off. Wet!

I wax mine twice a year spring and fall.

Pontiac 78 Formula 400 , Super T 10 close ratio 4 spd manual . The wife drove it daily in the summers from 1988 to 1997 . I got to drive it on weekends . No air and manual windows .I restored it in 1998 . For the next 11 years it was a pain in the ass . Dusting , under cover , take for a drive then hand wash dry and cover ,start warm up in winter once a month , repeat . Loved the car , but a PITA !! the wife no longer enjoyed driving it as it might get scratched and all the fun was gone . If I were in Jay Leno's class we would still have it , and the hired help would take care of it .
I like my Silver Sky Tacoma . Always looks pretty clean , and more time for other fun stuff .

I dont get away from work much but I can park my truck right in front of my studio so I will go out and wash or vacume. Nice stress reliever.

I just wax mine every few washes, wash twice a month. Don't care as much until wax time. I've had 3 black vehicles do I knew what I was getting into. Last week I hand waxed her up nice and shiny, next day neighbor cut grass and got pollen and crap all over her. I don't really give enough shit if she gets dirty, it's a truck not a show car. I just want the paint to stay in decent condition.
