I used the search function to try to find an answer before posting a new thread, but had no luck finding exactly what I was after, so here goes.

I just bought a 2017 SR5 Double Cab. I have the Dark Satin 16x7 wheels and like the looks of them, so I plan to keep them. The stock tires are horrible and have already shown to unworthy of even muddy well site roads. Just like most I figure if I am going to need new tires I might as well consider a size upgrade while I am at it.

I would like to know if I will be able to mount 265/75r16 Goodyear Duratracs on the stock 16x7 wheels without any kind of issues? Would I need spacers with this setup for everything to work smoothly? For the time being the suspension will remain stock, but a 3" inch lift may happen down the road.

I have researched online trying to figure it out on my own, but you folks seem to know your stuff. Any knowledge you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Your title says 265/75/16; your post says 275/65/16.
I assume you meant 265/75/16; yes they will fit fine.
What it will do is add 1/8" of negative scrub; putting total scrub at neutral to negative.
Steering may feel a little weird; squirmy.

I edited the size in the post.

Would you recommend any other size tire that doesn't make the steering feel weird? Again, I am very new to all of this. I've had other trucks, but always stuck with stock settings, specs, recommendations, etc.

It's the height affecting it; anything other than stock is going to do it.
A wheel with a different offset would help.
A spacer wouldn't be much help; you only need to make up for an 1/8" most quality spacers are 1.25". This would give you a lot of positive scrub.

It's not that bad really. I have 265/75/16s on mine.
I only ever notice it on 90* degree turns.
It doesn't straighten itself at the very end of the turn, like you might expect. I have to steer out of it, if that makes any sense.
