image.jpg image.jpg as the title states, which would be a better performance upgrade for my 17 sport? I just want to get rid of the hitachi's it came with. I tried searching about this subject but didn't find anything. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

I would go with the level 2's having better performance, but I don't know much in regards to the valving/design of the OEM stuff either. OEM is gonna cost you a lot more too.

Thanks for the input, I found a pro kit for less than the price of the level 2 which is why I was wondering which one to go for :help:

Eh I'd go with the level 2's man, most aftermarket kits are designed to increase performance a good deal, the OEM is more of a fox sticker, little better place holder, but again I'm just assuming as well not riding in a pro/knowing details.

i would go with the fox level 2s. nothing special about those factory ones. like others have said, more of a sticker on a OME shock.

Since I own a pro I'll chime in with my 2 cents. The shocks are absolutely an upgrade from anything else on a stock Tacoma. Ride is plusher overall and the suspension settles much quicker after impacts. That being said, they don't have any adjustability the level 2 kit has. With the level 2 kit you can control compression in the rear and spring preloading in the front. Maybe more I'm not that familiar with it. I would only pick up the OEM if it was half the cost of the level 2 kit and you weren't concerned with adding any lift.

i am trying to decide between these two options also, i would like to lift the front of my off road extended cab 1'' to level it up. i here the pro suspension ''front'' will give about a 1'' lift? but i really like the idea of the fox level 2 kit, to be able to fine tune the front end and i guess the are probably better then the pro. fox shocks? any thoughts....also if i got the fox 2 kit i would only be doing a 1'' lift,, so there would be no need for upper control arms right....
