I bought a 2013 access cab two months ago with 88 k miles.I plan to tow a 5000# sailboat and trailer. My last taco was a'90 4 cyl 2 wd that sat lower than the 4- runner that replaced it. This one is a bit of a hike to get in. I just wondered if there is an easy way to measure ( bumpers, trailer hitch, door height,) that would tell me if it is if it's been lifted and How much?image.jpg

Post a picture of your shocks/coils up front and your leaf pack in the rear. It doesn't look lifted.

Measuring from the center of the "hub"(hubcap), straight up horizontally to the lower edge of the fender flare may help also. Stock measurements are usually about 20" front and 22" in the rear hub-to-fender measured.

This is the best I could do with a IPad and a trouble light. The cv shaft is pretty much horizontal from the case to the wheelimage.jpgimage.jpg

Isn't it likely lifted in comparison to the 90? Or if the 90 was base and this is prerunner?

I bought the '90 after a double lease, and before I was on the Internet, so no documentation on model, and no TW wealth of information to figure it out. But, it was a regular cab,4 cyl, auto transmission and maybe air. Twenty years may be a factor, but it is still a big step up to get in.
