I think between the OR black fenders and the black decal it's to much black, it takes away from the nice body lines of the Truck.. But everyone has different likes, And if you like it that's all that matters...

Looks good. If you would have told me you were gonna do a vinyl piece on the side of the truck described as is I would have told you don't do it. But after seeing it, that looks pretty cool. I think the fact that it's quicksand helps too. Don't think that would have looked good on another color. Original...I like it.

Actually that would look nice on the Barca red too.

Something about it looks off to me. Its not terrible, but it looks... off to me for some reason.

 

Hey, I like that a lot. Just do that same angle behind the rear wheels like it is at the front of the stripes behind the front wheel and it'll finish it well. Remove the tad stickers also. good luck.

 

Got the idea from this truck. He didn't wrap the black around the back either. Idk. I'll see how the matte black TRD and black back bumper looks like

 

That was one of the trucks that made me look at 3rd gens. I saw it at 4WP Truck Fest last year, and thought the side decals looked pretty good. I liked that bed rack. Not sure if Revteck ever produced them.

 

I will be adding more accessories to my truck like the Soft Topper, cage over that, light pods, etc. Maybe those thing will help tie everything together. Im digging the look and the protection the vinyl will help with.

 

That's really cool! I really like it--especially with the Quicksand paint too. One question: how'd you get the "TACOMA" words to cut into the vinyl? It keeps me up at night just thinking about it!

 

I know its an old post, and i didnt read the whole thread. The part that really gets peppered with rocks is the lower area in front of the rear wheels. Mine is pretty bad from spending hours on FSRs and general offroad. My flares are pretty bad there and i did a lot of touch-ups on the actual metal. Nice looking truck though!
