    Hi Everyone,

I have a 06 Tacoma 4x4 Sport. I just discovered their is a noise and a possible leak in my rear end. I have not fully diagnosis what the noise is yet or what is wrong, I am going to take it in this week to see. I feel like a seal or bearing might have gone the brakes were saturated with a graphite feeling oily substance, black color. I replace the wheel cylinders and breaks as everything was coated However i am not sure the cylinders is what went especially with the noise coming from the diff. I am wondering if now would be a good time to upgrade to a more robust rear-end with an E-locker in it, or if its better to just have the stock rear-end rebuilt and add a e-locker later. I would be willing to swap the whole thing myself but if I have to rebuild it I believe that is out of my skill set. Any opinions or guidance is much appreciated.

well, the elocker rear end is different, and actually a smaller setup then what you have. I would just rebuild it and add a locker and call it a day.
